Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area where local law requires) to create an account.
• You must provide a valid email address that you control.
• One human, one account. Don't create accounts on behalf of someone else without their permission.

2. The Service

kvoroom is a chat application that lets you join location-anchored rooms within a small physical radius and have 1:1 conversations with other users. Rooms have capacity limits, time-to-live, and may require a password.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Threaten, harass, stalk, or incite violence against any person or group.
• Post sexually explicit content, content involving minors in any sexual context, or content that exploits, abuses, or endangers children.
• Post hate speech or content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or nationality.
• Impersonate other people, organizations, or kvoroom staff.
• Send spam, malware, phishing links, or unsolicited commercial content.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Service or its API.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We use automated filtering and human review to enforce these rules. Messages that violate them may be blocked, hidden, or deleted, and offending accounts may be warned, temporarily restricted, or permanently banned without prior notice.

4. Your content

• You retain ownership of the messages, usernames, and avatars you post.
• By posting, you grant kvoroom a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and moderate that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
• You're responsible for the legality of what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

5. Tokens and purchases

• kvoroom uses an in-app virtual currency called "tokens". Tokens are used to pay for things like 1:1 chat requests, premium room creation, and username changes.
• Tokens have no monetary value outside of the Service, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except as required by law.
• If you purchase tokens through the App Store or Google Play, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google under their own terms; their refund and payment rules apply in addition to ours.
• We may change token prices, costs, and economics at any time.
• If we terminate your account for a violation of these Terms, any unused tokens are forfeited.

6. Premium rooms and subscriptions

Premium-tier rooms last for a fixed period (currently 30 days from creation) and cost a flat number of tokens. The room is automatically deleted at the end of the period; tokens spent on a premium room are not refunded if you delete it early.

7. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time by emailing us at info@kvoroom.app.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if your account is dormant for an extended period, or if we discontinue the Service.
• Sections that by their nature should survive (Acceptable use, Tokens, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) survive termination.

8. Service availability

We try to keep kvoroom available 24/7 but we don't guarantee uptime. We may take the Service down for maintenance, updates, or to address security issues. We are not liable for downtime, lost messages, or lost tokens caused by outages or by data loss.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the conduct of other users will be lawful or appropriate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, kvoroom and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold kvoroom harmless from any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any disputes will be brought in the competent courts of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires a different forum.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time. If a change is material, we'll notify you in-app and update the "Effective" date above. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the new Terms.
